Suncrest Cherry Port is made from ripe fruit handpicked from the family’s orchard. The cherries are pulped, juiced, left to ferment slightly to create some natural alcohol before being fortified and left to age in neutral French oak barrels for 6 months.
This is paired perfectly with our Mombasa Ginger Beer which has a long palate, starting with a lavish sweetness followed by an almost chilli-like spice that lingers, the final palate is spicy, warming and lasting.
For a fruity twist on the classic mule, pour 50ml Cherry Port over quality ice, top with our spicy Mombasa Ginger Beer and garnish with a few raspberries or blackberries. (tip: frozen berries work great when out of season).
