Lunatic & Lover takes their silver botanical rum and put it away to rest in ex-Bourbon barrels for a few months to coax a little magic from the wood. Some of the lighter, more ethereal aromas take a back seat as the spirit absorbs vanilla and caramel flavours from the charred American Oak as well as tannin to give body and structure.
Once the rum has become integrated and smooth, they bottle to present a complex, bold spirit that retains the original botanical character with a whole added extra dimension.
